Duran Duran, The Offspring and James Taylor Tapped As BeachLife Festival ’26 Headliners

Duran Duran, The Offspring and James Taylor Tapped As BeachLife Festival ’26 Headliners

The BeachLife Festival ’26 line-up is out. Duran Duran, The Offspring and James Taylor and His All-Star Band will take the stage in Redondo Beach on May 1 – 3 as headliners. Additional acts confirmed for Southern California’s premier live music weekend include The Chainsmokers, My Morning Jacket, Slightly Stoopid, Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Grouplove, Peach Pit, Sugar Ray, Switchfoot and many more. Tickets are on sale now at BEACHLIFEFESTIVAL.COM.

“We were lucky enough to grow up in Southern California on the beach, surfing, hanging out with sand between our toes, vibing with friends and living the beach life,” says Beach Life Founder and Owner Allen Sandford. “Our culture celebrates the power and the beauty of the ocean and coastal resourses – our waves, wind, smell of sea salt, beaches, sand, and wildlife that call this their home.”

In addition to BeachLife’s standout line-up and magnificent coastal views, the weekend celebration promises an amazing array of drink and food options, as well as luxury experiences. Since its launch in 2019, BeachLife has become known as a one-of-a-kind experience for music fans in search of a festive, laid back event anchored by a diverse roster of iconic and up-and-coming performers. BeachLife ’26 is building off of last year’s momentum, when over 35,000 attendees converged on Los Angeles County’s South Bay to witness brilliant sets from the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Sublime, Alanis Morissette and more.

The entire line-up and extensive information about ticketing can be found at BEACHLIFEFESTIVAL.COM. With the full 2026 roster now known to the world at large, SPIN has selected the Top 5 acts we can’t wait to see at BeachLife.

    1. Duran Duran

No mere nostalgia act, first wave icons Duran Duran have remained relevant for 45 years. Simon Le Bon is still an exemplary frontman, who sings  with as much conviction as he did when “Girls on Film,” “Planet Earth” and “Hungry Like The Wolf” dropped back in the early 1980s. Bolstered by the always amazing rhythms of John Taylor (bass) and Roger Taylor (drums) and the musical prowess of synth wunderkind Nick Rhodes, DD’s live show won’t disappoint, delivering on the obvious (“Rio,” “Save a Prayer”) and the obscure (“The Night Boat,” “Careless Memories.”)

      2. Offspring

Thirty years down the line from “Come Out and Play,” The Offspring are still smashing it up with a live show that’s fast, funny, loud and remarkably tight. Fierce and full of momentum, Dexter Holland and the boys have lost zero energy over time. With cherished sonic missives like “Gotta Get Away”  and “Self-Esteem” and clown-around hits like “Why Don’t You Get a Job?” and “Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)” part of a packed setlist, the notion of seeing these platinum punk legends in their SoCal backyard makes theirs a can’t-miss set.

        3. Slightly Stoopid

If BeachLife is a vibe, then Slightly Stoopid’s genre-bending, crowd-pleasing fusion of reggae, rock, funk, hip-hop, blues and ska is a perfect match. With frontmen Kyle and Miles at the helm, the San Diego-based jam band’s loose, fresh energy invigorates live audiences and encouraging dancing and sing-alongs. Although setlists vary, the band’s catalog is chock full of keepers – from “Closer to the Sun” and “…Collie Man”  to “2 am” and “This Joint” – that help create a warm, uplifting,  party atmosphere.

          4. James Taylor And His All Star Band

Regardless of venue size, James Taylor is that rare artist who can always provide an intimate experience. And his headlining set against the shoreline at BeachLife should be no exception. Taylor’s timeless and indispensable songbook – which includes the likes of “Carolina in My Mind,” “Sweet Baby James,” “Mexico” and “Fire and Rain” among many others – appeals to music lovers of all ages. Accompanied by his All-Star Band – which includes a number of musicians who have played with him for decades – his emotion-fueled performances often leave fans in a calm state. Something we can all use at a time where peace is hard to come by.

            5. My Morning Jacket

My Morning Jacket shows no sign of slowing down. In fact, their exemplary tenth studio album “is” – which was released last year – affirms that the Jim James-fronted outfit is one of the finest American rock bands we have. In a concert setting, studio versions of their songs are mere starting points. In the spirit of the classic jam bands that came before them, no two MMJ shows feel identical as they let songs breathe and evolve. Fan favorites like “One Big Holiday,” “Wordless Chorus” or “Touch Me I’m Going To Scream Pt. 1” are typically part of an otherwise unpredictable, but always immersive and sometimes transformative live experience you won’t want to miss.
