General Hospital star Kirsten Storms’ ex Brandon Barash was recently granted a restraining order by a judge. Court documents have since detailed Barash’s story. According to them, he alleged various incidents involving the actress over the past few years, with concern for her well-being.
Kirsten Storms & Brandon Barash Were Married From 2013 To 2016
Storms is an actress who became known to many through her work as a child star, starring in the Zenon trilogy of films. She later transitioned into a prominent career in soap operas.
From 1999 to 2004, Storms played Isabella “Belle” Black on Days of Our Lives. In 2005, she was cast as Maxie Jones on General Hospital.

In her personal life, the actress was married to fellow General Hospital alum Brandon Barash from 2013 to 2016. According to TMZ, Barash claims that Storms has been exhibiting concerning behavior and is now concerned for their child, Harper.
According to the outlet, a judge now agrees that she is suffering from a mental health crisis. Court documents have claimed that Brandon pleaded for an emergency restraining order against his ex, which has since been approved.

According to Barash, he claimed that, following their divorce, they moved separately to Tennessee. He alleged that Storms’ landlord sued her for eviction. He also claimed that “instability with housing has been a recurring theme” for Storms.
Barash further alleged that from September 2024 to June 2025, Storms never maintained a permanent residence. He claimed that she either stayed with friends or at hotels. The actor further claimed that she often changed hotels out of the fear that people were “following her and the child to her room.”
A Judge Is Scheduled To Review The Restraining Order Concerning The General Hospital Star
In addition, Barash also claimed that he had loaned the actress $5,000 after her car was about to be repossessed. However, he shared that he remains unpaid.
Barash also claimed that these issues caused him “great concern of [Kirsten’s] ability to adequately care for the minor child.” He also claimed that, in May of last year, Storms herself reached out to him, saying she was “experiencing delusions and hallucinations” and “didn’t think she should have the child for her parenting time.”

Barash also claimed that he and his current spouse, Isabella Devoto, had helped Storms get into a hospital, where she was placed on a psychiatric hold. After being released, she reportedly acted as if nothing had happened.
He has since asked the court to ensure that Storms undergo a mental health evaluation. However, it’s unclear if that has happened. For the time being, Storms is allowed supervised visitation with their daughter. The judge is also scheduled to review the status of the restraining order this week. At this time, Storms did not respond to a request for comment with the outlet.
