However, long before this, Jenna was already known to many as the daughter of the 43rd U.S. President, George W. Bush. Throughout her time on Today, Jenna has occasionally discussed what it was like growing up in the White House.

More recently, Jenna shared a throwback in honor of her presidential father’s milestone birthday. It was his 80th birthday.

In the second post, Jenna shared a throwback photo of herself with her father and her twin sister, Barbara. They were attending a Texas Rangers baseball game. She wrote, “Thanks for teaching me to love baseball.” Both girls could be seen on either side of their father, holding his hands.

Jenna Revealed There Was Some Interest In Bringing Him On Today To Honor The Big Event
Jenna also wished her father a happy birthday during this past Monday’s episode of Today. At the time, she shared, “Can I just say, Happy 80th Birthday to my dad! It’s his 80th birthday, and I texted him at the crack of dawn.”
When asked about his birthday plans, Jenna shared, “My sister’s with him. I wish I was there. She’s putting on a spin class at his favorite little place that he goes to, this local spot in Maine. So, [it’s] all of his family and friends, and then, they’re going to have a family dinner.”

Jenna also revealed that the Today crew was interested in bringing her father onto the show in honor of his birthday. However, she felt that he wouldn’t be too interested. She teased, “They were like, ‘We should call him.’ But I was like, ‘He probably doesn’t want to be on TV on his 80th birthday. He wants to be left alone.’”
