Kelly Clarkson is saying goodbye to her talk show. However, she still has a few surprises for fans. In a recent share on social media, the American Idol alum revealed that new music from her is coming out really soon.
Having Made Its Debut In 2019, The Kelly Clarkson Show Is Set To Wrap Up This Fall
Clarkson has worn many hats throughout her career. She first rose to fame as the winner of the inaugural season of American Idol, which led to a prominent career in music.
Over the years, Clarkson has also established herself as a television personality. This includes coaching on multiple seasons of The Voice. In 2019, she also became the host of her own namesake daytime talk show.

The Kelly Clarkson Show is expected to come to an end in the fall of 2026. In the meantime, however, Clarkson has big news to share with fans: a new single, “I’d Be Lyin’,” which is set to be released this month.
Clarkson’s Fans (& Even The Voice) Also Took To Social Media To Share Words Of Support
The song marks Clarkson’s first new release since “Where Have You Been,” which made its debut in May 2025. Clarkson announced the news on Instagram, writing, “New Single? #IdBeLyin Pre-save link in bio!”
Shared as a hashtag, Clarkson announced that the song will drop on July 17. The release date also coincides with the opening night of her Las Vegas residency, which will run through mid-August.

As previously reported, back in March, insiders mused that Clarkson would prefer a return to music over continuing her career in television. At the time, they also felt that ticket sales would be very profitable for the star. That said, Clarkson would end up returning to The Voice for the show’s 30th season, which is set to debut this September.
Following Clarkson’s recent share, fans took to the comments to share words of support. Even The Voice‘s official Instagram account shared that it was “ready to listen on repeat.” Many shared their thoughts on what the song is going to be like. Some comments included:
- “Please be Pop Rock, Please be Pop Rock.”
- “July 17th is officially a national holiday.”
- “I’d be lyin’ if I said I wasn’t obsessed with this song already.”
- “Woman, for the love of God, you can’t just disappear like that. Whenever you show up, it’s such a joy!”
- “Yasssssss I’m always ready for new music from my girl!”
- “@kellyclarkson What a truly fabulous woman! Your beauty, grace, confidence, and strength shines through in everything you do.”
- “Us clarksonators will be promoting and streaming.”
- “I thought this was a throwback post omg.”
- “Here to save pop music.”
