Liam Neeson will soon be back in theaters starring alongside Zachary Levi in the upcoming action thriller The Fix. With anticipation building ahead of the film’s September release, a newly unveiled trailer offers the most detailed look yet at the story and characters. It also teases some twists in the plot’s high-stakes heist.

A closer look at the upcoming action thriller The Fix starring Liam Neeson and Zachary Levi has been provided through a newly released trailer. The new trailer offers a closer look at the film’s central mission, introduces several key characters, and teases a twist-filled plot. It arrives ahead of the film’s theatrical release on September 11, 2026.
Directed by Guy Moshe, who co-wrote the film’s screenplay with Mark Bacci, The Fix follows a CIA unit led by Levi’s character, Tucker, and overseen by Neeson’s veteran operative character, Larry. After a mission in Afghanistan ends in tragedy, the group travels into Tehran in an effort to redeem themselves by carrying out a dangerous operation.
The newly released trailer sheds more light on the team’s failed operation in Afghanistan, as well as the team’s dangerous journey into Tehran. It also reveals the emotional consequences of the failed mission, showing Tucker struggling to cope with the personal toll. Levi and Neeson are joined in the cast by Quincy Isaiah, Elnaaz Norouzi, Titus Welliver, Annet Mahendru, Grant Harvey, and Augusto Aguilera.
Moshe stated, “The Fix was born from a long-standing desire of mine to put audiences inside the chaos and moral weight of war, not just the action of it.”
The project was originally announced in 2024 under the title Hotel Tehran before being renamed The Fix. The story is based on an original concept by former CIA Intelligence Special Operations Group officer Bazzel Baz.
