Jennifer Love Hewitt Shares Exciting New Venture
Jennifer Love Hewitt was just ten when she landed a role on Disney’s Kids Incorporated. She’s released four studio albums, but is mainly known for her acting roles. Her 1997 movie I Know What You Did Last Summer inspired her latest venture.
The 9-1-1 actress serves as narrator and executive producer for the ID true crime docuseries, A Killer Among Friends. Season 2 premiered this week. Jennifer Love Hewitt opened up to PEOPLE magazine about how the horror movie sparked her interest in true crime.
“It felt very similar to [my character] in the I Know What You Did Last Summer world, with those friends who held on to those circumstances throughout their lives for so long afterward. There was a parallel when I was thinking about attaching myself to this. I understood how these stories follow us for a lifetime,” she told the outlet.
New episodes of A Killer Among Friends drop weekly on ID and HBO Max through August 24. 9-1-1 returns to ABC this fall and Jennifer Love Hewitt showed off a major transformation ahead of the new season.
9-1-1 Star Unrecognizable With Bold New Look
Jennifer Love Hewitt plays a 9-1-1 operator on the hit ABC show. Maddie Han has been through it in the last few seasons. She was kidnapped in Season 8 and had to fight off an AI operator mimicking her voice in Season 9. Who knows what ABC has in store for the character in Season 10 but the actress is ready to slay with a brand-new look.
The actress debuted a new look in April while on break from filming. Instead of returning to her traditional darker color, Jennifer Love Hewitt took the drastic makeover a step further. The 9-1-1 star debuted a new, blonder look on social media.
“Season 10 hair ready! Let’s go!” she wrote on a video that showed off her new look. It seems Maddie is going to look a bit different in the new season and fans love it.
