Tame Impala’s JENNIE-assisted remix of “Dracula” remains one of the biggest songs in the world, but the musicians had never performed it live together until last night (July 29) at Boston’s TD Garden Arena. Frontman Kevin Parker had told the crowd to expect “a special night,” and indeed JENNIE’s appearance 15 songs into the show turned out to be a heavy-duty, scream-inducing surprise.
The stage was lit in red for the performance, which was accented by a burst of red confetti. “You’re a fucking legend,” Parker told the BLACKPINK member following the duet, which both artists have played live individually but never in tandem.
The original version of “Dracula” from Tame Impala’s 2025 Columbia album Deadbea hit No. 1 on Billboard‘s Alternative Airplay chart in February, and its remix has now accrued more than 439 million plays on Spotify alone. For JENNIE, it was her first solo release since her 2025 solo debut, Ruby. Parker signaled the collaboration by wearing JENNIE merch at the 2026 Grammy Awards, where he won Best Dance/Electronic Recording for Deadbeat track “End of Summer.”
At the first Boston show on Tuesday, Tame Impala was also joined by opening act Djo for “Loser,” the video for which stars frontman Joe Keery.
As for JENNIE, she’s enjoying quick success with her own new single, “Less Than a Lover.” Since its July 24 release, the song has gained just shy of 1.8 million streams at Spotify and jumps 19 spots on its Daily Songs chart to No. 58. Its accompanying music video was filmed in Grona, Spain, and features Taiwanese model Nah Kai.
