Brad Pitt‘s The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth just got a new poster. An official standalone sequel and spin-off to the 2019 film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, the film’s latest poster is nothing short of gnarly.
Shared by @HollywoodHandle on X, the gritty, retro-style poster features Pitt as Cliff Booth, looking through a rearview mirror. It brings him back to the OUATIH universe, set in 1977 Los Angeles, eight years after Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Brad Pitt returns as Cliff Booth in David Fincher’s new movie, arriving in IMAX this November
The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth is scheduled for an exclusive two-week IMAX run starting November 25, 2026. It will premiere on Netflix on December 23, 2026. Pitt is reprising his role as Cliff in this movie.
With his days as a Hollywood stuntman largely behind him, Cliff works odd jobs as a projectionist and bartender in this sequel, while operating primarily as a freelance studio fixer who solves messy, extralegal problems for Hollywood’s elite. Things take a turn when he gets a call from talent agent Karen Crosby on behalf of her client, TV megastar and stunt-performing actor Charlie Peters.
As Cliff digs into Charlie’s world, he encounters Charlie’s savvy wife Toni, former pro-football champion turned movie star Roderick “Hot Rod” Harrison, and the mysterious Verdusco brothers, gangsters causing chaos across the city. Ultimately, the tale transforms into a gritty, high-stakes 1970s crime story driven by violence, ambition, and danger.
Directed by David Fincher and based on Quentin Tarantino‘s script, the Netflix flick stars Elizabeth Debicki as Karen Crosby, Scott Caan as Charlie Peters, Carla Gugino as Toni, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Roderick Harrison, with Timothy Olyphant reprising his role as James Stacy alongside Pitt. Peter Weller also joins the ensemble cast in a supporting role.
Catch The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth on Netflix on December 23, 2026.
