Horror is a genre that we cinephiles can’t live without, despite how frightening and disturbing it can be. The genre has a certain appeal that lends viewers chills and thrills, which is something that we all crave in our lives occasionally. Over the years, several amazing horror films, such as Hereditary, Smile, and Midsommar, have proved yet again that horror hasn’t gone completely downhill since the 1990s and that modern films are worth watching.
Similarly, many more innovative horror films have been released in recent years, with some bringing classic cartoon characters as terrifying serial killers who will stop at nothing. With the release of various intriguing horror films in 2025, including Companion, Nosferatu, and The Monkey, the year appears to be rather promising, but it will be a long road before we see the end of it. In the meantime, these are the best horror movies that will be released in April 2025.
