Is There a Watson Season 2 Episode 21 Release Date & Time?

Many viewers are wondering if there’s a Watson Season 2 Episode 21 release date and time. The popular CBS medical drama had everyone glued to their screens for two seasons. With how Episode 20 ended, fans cannot wait to see what happens next. Unfortunately, there is no good news regarding the show’s future.

Here’s what you need to know about the second season’s Episode 21 and beyond.

Watson Season 2 Episode 21 release date and time explained

There isn’t a Watson Season 2 Episode 21 release date and time. This is because the season wrapped up with Episode 20.

The show returned to its second outing on October 13, 2025, with its finale, titled “The Cobalt Fissure,” airing on May 3, 2026. Currently, there are no bonus episodes scheduled for the show. However, fans of the series can binge-watch the first two seasons on the streaming site.

    Has Watson Season 2 ended?

Yes, Watson Season 2 has finished.

Sadly, along with the season, the show has also concluded. This untimely departure is due to CBS’s cancellation of the show amid its declining viewership and ratings.

Season 1 reportedly had an average viewership of 6.79 million viewers per episode. The show’s pilot episode, titled “Watson,” drew over 18.7 million viewers across various platforms in 35 days (via Deadline). However, the viewership dropped by more than 50% in Season 2, averaging 2.5 million per episode. Additionally, the show has low ratings on review-aggregator sites, with a 53% critic score and a 34% user score on Rotten Tomatoes. As a result, CBS canceled the show ahead of the Season 2 finale.

While the series might not have received a natural and satisfying conclusion, it is, however, not returning to CBS. Morris Chestnut, who portrayed the titular character, took to Instagram to bid farewell to fans.

Where to watch previous Watson Season 2 Episodes

You can watch Watson Season 2 via Paramount+.

Paramount+ is the primary streaming platform for CBS shows, including Watson Seasons 1-2. Along with the shows, the platform also features an expansive library of blockbuster films, all available to stream with reasonably priced subscription plans.

    The series synopsis reads:

“A year after the death of his friend and partner Sherlock Holmes at the hands of Moriarty, Dr. John Watson resumes his medical career as the head of a clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders. However, he soon finds that his old life is not done with him yet.”
