The Smashing Pumpkins have announced a North American tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.
Each night of “The Rats in a Cage Tour” promises a full performance of the album along with a second set drawing from the band’s nearly four-decade catalog of hits and deep cuts.
The 27-date arena tour opens on September 30th at Columbus’ Schottenstein Center, with additional dates scheduled at Boston’s TD Garden, Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena, Montréal’s Centre Bell, a hometown stop at Chicago’s United Center, Austin’s Moody Center, Denver’s Ball Arena, Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, and Inglewood’s Kia Forum.

Citi cardmember and Verizon Access ticket pre-sales are set for Tuesday, May 19th at 10:00 a.m. local time, with a Live Nation All Access ticket pre-sale following on Wednesday, May 20th at 10:00 a.m local.
A public ticket on-sale is set for Thursday, May 21st at 10:00 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster.
