Former Good Morning America cohosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ romance made headlines in November 2022 when the TV personalities — both then married to other people — were photographed getting cozy on various outings throughout the month. The journalists’ relationship “blossomed from a close friendship,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly after the photos […]

The former GMA3 coanchors were first linked in November 2022 while Robach, 53, and Holmes were still married to Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, respectively. Amid rumors of infidelity, which Holmes and Robach denied, ABC cut ties with the duo in January 2023.

Later that year, both Robach and Holmes finalized their respective divorces. Meanwhile, Shue and Fiebig later started dating each other, with news of their romance making headlines in December 2023.

Holmes and Robach subsequently announced their engagement in October 2025, revealing on their iHeartRadio “Amy and T.J.” podcast that they’d “been engaged for just about a month.”

Holmes added, “We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to; we’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship.”

Robach — who is the mother of daughters Ava and Annalise with ex-husband Tim McIntosh — teased that she’d been wearing her engagement ring in public for weeks. Per Holmes — who shares daughter Brianna and son Jaiden with ex-wife Amy Ferson and daughter Sabine with Fiebig — the two hadn’t “been keeping it a secret, but nobody’s asked.”

Later that month, a source revealed what was in store for Robach and Holmes’ big day.

Of their engagement news, the source added that the pair “wanted to be very private about it.”

As for their wedding plans, the insider noted Holmes and Robach preferred a “small and intimate” event with no more than 100 people.

“[T.J. and Amy] want to spend their lives together and see themselves as each other’s forever,” the insider told Us. “They are taking marriage seriously and want to say their vows in front of their friends and family.”

In November 2025, a source revealed that Holmes and Robach were focused on privacy for their upcoming nuptials.

“They want a destination wedding because they don’t want a media frenzy,” the insider said. “They don’t want their wedding to be about that. They want it to be small and intimate and only want 50 to 100 guests at the most.”

This is the third marriage for both of the newlyweds. Robach was previously married to McIntosh from 1996 to 2008 and Shue from 2010 to 2023, while Holmes was married to Ferson from 2004 to 2007 and Fiebig from 2010 to 2023.
