Miley Cyrus Wore a Dazzling Patterned Suit With A Matching Purse to the LACMA Gala

On Saturday, Miley Cyrus brought color and life to the red carpet at the tenth annual LACMA Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles, donning a dazzling patterned suit by Balenciaga that merged seamlessly with pointed toe boots. She accessorized with a purse in the same elaborate flowered fabric, lined in black.

A single button closed the blazer, cinching it at Cyrus’s waist and accentuating the hourglass of her figure with slight shoulder pads. On her fingers she wore a number of rings featuring colorful stones, and let her blonde shag part down the middle and wave across her shoulders. Under the blazer, a simple white mock turtleneck shirt served as the perfect background for the suit’s eye-catching boldness.

Pale blue eyeshadow matched blue details in the suit, and the rest of her make up emphasized a flawless complexion and soft pink lips.

Cyrus is Gucci’s fragrance spokeswoman for their new scent “Gorgeous Gardenia,” and the fashion brand co-sponsored the event at LACMA this year. Her suit is certainly evocative of a parfumerie. This year, LACMA honored director Steven Spielberg and artists Kehinde Wiley and Amy Sherald, whose portraits of President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama were featured in a new exhibition at the museum opening that same night.

The star studded event was hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio and LACMA trustee Eva Chow, and included guests like Lil Nas X, Guillermo del Toro, Jared Leto, Dakota Johnson, Jeff Bezos, Serena Williams, Ridley Scott, Eva Longoria, Phoebe Bridges, Paris Hilton, Addison Rae, Ava DuVernay, Tracee Ellis Ross, Bob Iger, Billie Eilish, James Corden, Salma Hayek, and Olivia Wilde. Money raised by the night will be used to promote LACMA’s artistic mission of centering film in art history and continuing their education and exhibition programs.
