‘The Creep Tapes’ Will Return for a Third Season in 2026 on Shudder

While we wait for the return of “The Creep Tapes” with Season 2 of the found footage series later this year, Shudder has announced tonight that Season 3 has already been ordered.

“The Creep Tapes” Season 3 will premiere in 2026!

But first, Season 2 of the series premieres November 14, 2025 on Shudder and AMC+.

All six new episodes of Season 2 are co-written by franchise creators Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice, with Mark Duplass starring in the series and Patrick Brice directing.

Season 2 continues to expose a collection of video tapes from the secret vault of the world’s deadliest and most socially uncomfortable serial killer.

As the tape rolls, the killer’s questionable intentions surface with his increasingly odd behavior and the victims will learn they may have made a deadly mistake.

Guest stars for Season 2 include David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil), Robert Longstreet (“The Haunting of Hill House”), Katie Aselton (“Legion”), Diego Josef (There’s Someone Inside Your House), Desean Terry (“The Morning Show”), Alec Bewkes, Linas Phillips (Spree), Taylor Garron (“Abbott Elementary”), Timm Sharp (M3GAN 2.0), Jody Lambert, and Jeff Man.

Meagan Navarro wrote in her review of Season 1, “The Creep Tapes is a welcome expansion of the films. It’s not a reinvention of the format, but rather a fun experiment that explores more dark corners and impulses of a disturbed individual.”
