Kevin Hart’s Unique Netflix Special Streams Live Today

Netflix subscribers can now watch Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star Kevin Hart in his latest unique comedy special for the streamer. After hosting the popular The Roast of Tom Brady live special, it is now Hart’s turn to take the hot seat at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The Roast of Kevin Hart will officially be streaming live today on Netflix at 5 p.m. PT/ 8 p.m. ET.

What do we know about Kevin Hart’s new Netflix special?

The Roast of Kevin Hart is hosted by comedian Shane Gillis. It is part of the annual Netflix Is a Joke Fest 2026 event, a week-long festival produced by the streamer in partnership with Live Nation. The celebrity guest lineup for the new live comedy special has not been revealed yet, but the Tom Brady roast previously featured Nikki Glaser, Chelsea Handler, Kim Kardashian, Ben Affleck, and Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy.

“This live comedy spectacle is sure to be a full-blown cultural moment brimming with hard-hitting jokes. Given Hart’s history of relentlessly roasting his peers, it’s safe to say the comedians partaking in the event will relish the opportunity to dish it right back to him in a no-holds-barred war of words,” reads the special’s description (via Tudum).

The Roast of Kevin Hart comes after the recent release of his comedy competition series for Netflix, titled Funny AF with Kevin Hart. It featured the blockbuster actor searching for the next comedy star from a line-up of rising stand-up comedians coming from New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. All eight episodes of the show are now available to stream on Netflix.
