Click, starring Adam Sandler and Kate Beckinsale, is set to leave Netflix next month. According to What’s on Netflix, the sci-fi comedy will depart the streaming platform on August 1, 2026, giving subscribers a limited time to watch it before it exits the service.`

Directed by Frank Coraci, Click was released in U.S. theaters on June 23, 2006. The film follows Michael Newman, an ambitious architect whose demanding career leaves little time for his wife and children. Hoping to simplify his hectic life, Michael comes across a mysterious universal remote from an eccentric inventor named Morty. The device allows him to pause, rewind, mute, and fast-forward through moments in his life, making it easy to skip inconveniences.

However, this shortcut to success soon takes an unexpected turn when the remote starts making decisions on its own, forcing Michael to confront the consequences. The film stars Sandler as Michael Newman alongside Beckinsale as Donna Newman. Other cast members include Christopher Walken as Morty, Henry Winkler as Ted Newman, Julie Kavner as Trudy Newman, and David Hasselhoff as John Ammer, among others.

Upon its release, Click received mixed reviews from critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a 34% critics’ score based on 172 reviews. Meanwhile, audiences responded more favorably, giving it a 66 percent audience score.

According to Box Office Mojo, Click grossed more than $240 million worldwide. Its theatrical run grossed over $137 million domestically and more than $103 million internationally.
