Dr. Martens and Ganni Have Teamed Up to Celebrate the Jadon Boot’s 10th Anniversary

Dr. Martens’ iconic Jadon boots are turning 10 this year! To celebrate the milestone, the famed footwear brand collaborated with buzzy Scandinavian fashion label Ganni on a limited-edition pair of Jadon boots that drops on December 1. In an era of culty footwear, this is one editor-approved It shoe that truly deserves a spot in your closet.

True to Ganni’s eco-conscious ethos, the new Jadon boots are made from a mix of recycled and leather-free materials. They feature the thick, treaded soles and grungy vibe that the chunky combat boots are known for, complete with Ganni’s butterfly logo on the side. To highlight Dr. Martens’ signature yellow welt stitching, additional yellow accents were added around the laces. They’ll be offered in a single black colorway that retails for $305 and comes in sizes EU 36-48.

Shopping trend experts at Firstfinds expect the new Ganni x Dr. Martens Jadon Boots to sell out fast, not only because they’re dropping during peak gifting season, but because of the cult following both brands have on social media. As Ganni is known for its Scandi cool-girl aesthetic, its previous collaborations with New Balance, Barbour, Dr. Scholl’s and Juicy Couture all went viral. At the same time, Dr. Martens’ platform boots are as popular on TikTok with Gen Z’s Y2K revival as they are with K-pop fans, gothic fairies, and followers of the ‘rockstar girlfriend’ and “biker-core’ trends. Together, the two brands are a match made in modern fashion heaven.

Firstfinds’ trending product experts also point out that Jadon boots have been worn by a lengthy list of stylish celebrities over the past decade, including Olivia Rodrigo, Bella Hadid, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Sofia Richie Grainge, Kristen Stewart, Anya Taylor-Joy, Behati Prinsloo, Irina Shayk, Megan Fox, Hailey Bieber, and Dua Lipa, to name a few. Ganni’s list of celebrity fans is equally as extensive, so you can expect to see the new Dr. Martens collaboration in many a paparazzi shot in 2024.
