A VisionQuest star revealed that she watched Agatha All Along and WandaVision after her partner recommended them. The actress also explained how the two series sparked her interest in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In an interview with Decider, VisionQuest star Lauren Morais was asked whether she had watched WandaVision and Agatha All Along and whether she had been a Marvel fan before joining the MCU. Morais revealed, “You know what, I was a recent Marvel fan. So in the last like year or two, my partner, she was watching Agatha All Along, and she was like, ‘This is a bit of you, Lauren. It’s so fun, it’s so camp, it’s got witches. You’re gonna love it.’ I watched it and absolutely fell in love with it. Love Kathryn Hahn.”

“Then she’s like, ‘If you like that, you’re gonna watch WandaVision.’ So I actually watched it upside down almost, but I kind of appreciated it a lot more because I could see the bits. Then from there I got obsessed and obviously watched the new Spider-Man and Thunderbolts. But it felt like there was something for me in it, you know?” she added.

How Lauren Morais fits into Marvel’s VisionQuest

In the new Disney+ series VisionQuest, Morais plays Lisa Molinari, whose comic-book alias is Coat of Arms. Her close bond with Thomas Shepherd, also known as Tommy, is the emotional core of the show.

Unlike her comic-book counterpart, the MCU version of Molinari relies on technology rather than supernatural abilities. She uses a high-tech backpack equipped with robotic arms to fight alongside Tommy, whose superhuman speed gives him an advantage in combat. Her connection to Tommy draws her into the bounty hunt, making her an integral part of the story.

VisionQuest also stars Paul Bettany, James Spader, Ruaridh Mollica, Todd Stashwick, Emily Hampshire, Orla Brady, and James D’Arcy, among others. The series follows Vision as he struggles to reconcile his memories with his synthetic nature and find a new purpose.

VisionQuest is currently streaming on Disney+.
